Getting started
- Sign in with your email — we'll send a magic link, no password needed.
- New accounts get 30 free minutes, valid for 14 days, no card required.
- From your dashboard, upload an audio or video file to create your first transcript.
- When it's ready, open it to read, edit, translate, and export.
Uploading files
Drop in any common audio or video file — meetings, interviews, lectures, voice notes.
- Supported formats include MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC, OGG, FLAC, MP4, MOV and WEBM.
- Files up to 2GB are supported. We extract the audio automatically.
- Works on any device — desktop or mobile.
- If you're out of minutes, you'll be prompted to subscribe before uploading.
Understanding your transcript
- Speaker labels — automatic diarization marks who said what (Speaker 1, Speaker 2…).
- Exact timestamps — every line carries a precise
[HH:MM:SS.mmm]timecode. - Verbatim & clean-read — switch between the raw transcript and an AI-polished version with fillers and false starts removed.
- Audio tags — non-speech cues like [laughs] are marked inline.
Editing & autosave
- Click any segment to edit the text — changes autosave automatically.
- Play the audio synced to the transcript to proofread line by line.
- Timestamps stay accurate — editing the text never changes the timecodes.
- Source audio is available for playback for 7 days after upload.
Translation
Open a finished transcript and choose a language to translate it — French, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Swahili and more. The translated view preserves speakers and timestamps, and you can export it like any other version.

- Export as DOCX, PDF, TXT or SRT.
- Toggle whether to include timestamps and speaker labels.
- Export the verbatim, clean-read, or a translated version.

- Starter plan: KES 1,500/month for 600 minutes.
- Pay with M-Pesa (one-off, renew each cycle) or card (auto-renews).

Frequently asked questions
How accurate are the transcripts?
We use state-of-the-art speech AI with automatic speaker labels, then an AI clean-read pass for punctuation and readability. Accuracy is high for clear audio; you can always fine-tune the result in the editor.
Which languages are supported?
Kenyan-accented English and Swahili are first-class, plus 99+ other languages. You can also translate a finished transcript into French, Spanish, German, Chinese, Arabic, Swahili and more.
What files can I upload?
Any common audio or video format — MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC, OGG, FLAC, MP4, MOV, WEBM and more. We extract the audio automatically. Files up to 2GB are supported.
How do the free minutes work?
New accounts get 30 free minutes, valid for 14 days — no card required. Use them to try the full product before subscribing. The trial ends when you've used the 30 minutes or after 14 days, whichever comes first, and is not renewed.
How am I billed and how do minutes work?
The Starter plan is KES 1,500/month for 600 minutes. Pay by M-Pesa (a one-off charge you renew each cycle) or card (auto-renews). Minutes pool: each payment adds 600 minutes that stay valid until your plan's end date.
If I finish my 600 minutes early, can I use next month's?
Yes. Your minutes are one balance valid until your plan's end date — if you top up or have already paid ahead, you can use that balance whenever you need it.
Will I be charged automatically?
Only on card. Card subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. M-Pesa is a one-off charge each cycle — we'll remind you to renew.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. For card, cancel before your next renewal to avoid the following charge; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. M-Pesa simply isn't renewed.
Is my data private?
Your transcripts are private to your account and protected by row-level security. Source audio is automatically deleted within 7 days of upload. We do not use your content to train AI models.
Can I edit the transcript?
Yes — open any transcript and edit segments inline. Changes autosave, and you can play the audio synced to the text to proofread.
